Course Overview
This course is designed to empower educators and tutors across various specialties to harness the potential of virtual reality in their teaching and professional practices. Participants will master the use of the 3C modeling tool to create custom 3D assets, enabling them to enhance their educational content, foster interactive learning environments, and bring their ideas to life in VR. Whether you're looking to innovate your teaching methods or expand your creative skill set, this course provides the tools and expertise needed to succeed in the immersive world of virtual reality.​
Course Curriculum
Module 1 - Onboarding
(Navigating virtual environments, mastering VR controllers and menus, learning essential 3D creation tools)
Module 2 - Building the Wireframe
(Laying the technical foundations for 3D modeling through core techniques and principles)
Module 3 - Surfacing I
(Introducing subdivision modeling and applying diverse techniques to construct a 3D model)
Module 4 - Surfacing II
(Continuing subdivision modeling, utilizing advanced techniques)
Module 5 - Detailing
(Perfecting the final look through precision surfacing, texturing, and refinement of the 3D model)
Module 6 - Presenting
(Mastering export workflows, portfolio curation, and effective presentation skills)
Module 7 - Project Completion & Tutor Tailored Assets
(Finalizing project submissions, Q&A sessions, and tailored advice for utilising the tool for specific curriculum)

Requirements
-No Previous Experience Necessary: These workshops are designed to be accessible to all. We welcome creative minds of all backgrounds and skill levels, ages 7 and up.​

-Stable WiFi Connection: For our online and in person workshops/courses, a reliable and stable WiFi connection is essential to ensure a seamless and uninterrupted experience.

-Comfortable Workstation: For group sessions we recommend setting up a sitting area with ample space between participants.
-For Remote sessions: Minimum Required Hardware: Meta Oculus Quest 2 Virtual Reality Headset
