Course Overview
This 7-week course will equipt you with 3D design skills you need to elevate your workflow, showcase your ideas effectively, while learning essential Fashion Design Skills. Our industry-standard program reveals precise steps and advanced techniques, favoured by top designers, to seamlessly transform 2D sketches into stunning 3D models to position yourself for success in the dynamic world of fashion design.
Course Curriculum
Module 1 - Onboarding
(Navigating virtual environments, mastering VR controllers and menus, learning essential 3D creation tools)
Module 2 - Building the Wireframe
(Laying the technical foundations for 3D modeling through core techniques and principles)
Module 3 - Surfacing I
(Introducing subdivision modeling and applying diverse techniques to constructing a garment of your choice)
Module 4 - Surfacing II
(Continuing subdivision modeling, utilizing advanced techniques to fashion piece)
Module 5 - Detailing
(Perfecting the final look through precision surfacing, texturing, and refinement of the 3D model)
Module 6 - Presenting
(Mastering export workflows, portfolio curation, and effective presentation skills for job interviews)
Module 7 - Industry Expert Workshop in AI & Career Guidance
(Finalizing project submissions, Q&A sessions, Workshop in AI and tailored advice for kickstarting your digital design career)

Requirements
-No Previous Experience Necessary: These workshops are designed to be accessible to all. We welcome creative minds of all backgrounds and skill levels, ages 7 and up.
-Stable WiFi Connection: For our online and in person workshops/courses, a reliable and stable WiFi connection is essential to ensure a seamless and uninterrupted experience.
-Comfortable Workstation: For group sessions we recommend setting up a sitting area with ample space between participants.
-For Remote sessions: Minimum Required Hardware: Meta Oculus Quest 2 Virtual Reality Headset
